3. Does my wedding officiant assist me through the wedding process?
As a wedding officiant, my primary role is to conduct your ceremony. For those requiring additional support, we also offer services as a wedding planner or coordinator. Please explore the ‘Special Packages’ section on our website for more details.
4. How much do you charge?
My officiant and celebrant fees vary based on the type of ceremony and its location. Rates begin at $175, with pricing adjusted to meet your specific needs. We occasionally offer special rates, so I encourage you to contact me directly for a personalized quote.
5. What is the booking process?
Please email me through the contact page to inquire about my availability and to address any questions you might have. Upon deciding to engage my services, I will issue a non-refundable invoice for 50% of the service fee to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your ceremony. For bookings made less than one month before the ceremony, the full payment is required at the time of booking. For simple marriage license signings, payment can be made on the day of the event unless you wish to schedule an appointment one week or more in advance, in which case a booking fee is required to reserve your date.
6. What is your refund policy?
While we do not offer refunds for cancelled services, we provide a credit equal to the amount paid, applicable towards any future service. This credit can be used for a variety of offerings, such as rebooking your ceremony, a 1-hour relationship therapy session, or any other service listed under our ‘Special Packages’ section.
7. We don’t live in Georgia, can you help us get married?
Absolutely! If you’re considering getting married in Georgia, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have experience officiating weddings for couples from across the country, including New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Florida, Maine, and North Carolina, among others. I’m here to assist you with the necessary paperwork and legal requirements to ensure your marriage is recognized in your home state.
8. Can you help us to get a marriage licence and marriage certificate?
As part of my services, I will guide you through all necessary paperwork, ensuring a smooth process. In Georgia, marriage licenses are valid indefinitely as they have no expiration date. Please note that processing a marriage license application can take up to 7 working days, and fees may vary by county. As a gift, I provide marriage certificates, but you may also order a certified copy from the probate court for approximately $10.00.
9. Do you provide any post-wedding services?
Yes, in addition to officiating ceremonies, I offer a range of post-wedding services to support couples beyond their special day. These include relationship therapy sessions and assistance with obtaining official marriage certificates. My aim is to provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition into married life.
